I made this patch this week whilst feeling down. It started off as a cloud as the grey colour reminded me of clouds. At first it looked a little depressing, but I didn't want it to be a sad depressing patch and the cloud image reminded me of a video I had seen by one of my favourite illustrators on YouTube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ou0ClzXSzrQ which is quite uplifting. I wanted the patch to remind me that even when things are feeling grey every cloud has a silver lining.
